The next World Exhibition, taking place every five years, will be held in Dubai in 2020. Sweden will be one of the participating countries and your company also has the opportunity to join! This seminar will provide you with a unique opportunity to get information regarding business possibilities that exist for your company at Expo 2020.
The exhibition takes place between 20 October 2020 and 10 April 2021 and is themed “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. The organizers expect 190 countries to participate, with around 25 million visitors anticipated to visit the Expo from all over the world.

The purpose of the Swedish participation is to strengthen Sweden’s attractiveness abroad, promote Sweden as a knowledge nation and strengthen the competitiveness and creativity of the business community. Expo 2020 will be the government’s single largest investment in export and investment promotion.

The exhibition has three main focus areas: opportunity, mobility and sustainability. Sweden’s pavilion will be located in the sustainability area. The overarching theme for the Swedish pavilion is “Co-creation for Innovation”. In a true co-creating spirit, we are inviting your company to listen to and be inspired by the Swedish Expo organizers and companies already engaged in the project, and to learn how your company can get involved.

Daniel Nutley, Head of Global Relationships, and Malin Hammarén, Head of Trade Services, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Malin will provide insights surrounding the business climate in the region based upon her previous experience of working for Business Sweden in Dubai.

Nina Ekstrand, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Committee for Sweden’s Participation at Expo 2020 in Dubai, will present the Swedish participation at the World Expo.

Annika Ahlstrand, Director for Marketing and Communication, and Robert Johansson, Sales Manager, Systemair, will explain why their company is engaged in the Swedish Expo 2020 pavilion and the opportunities that their company are foreseeing with its engagement.

Ross Hopwood, Board Member, Make Trade, an official organization to the Expo 2020 Sweden, will present how the association works to improve the exporting conditions for small and medium-sized companies in Sweden.

After the seminar you will have the opportunity to speak directly with the both the Expo organizers and the participating companies.
