Do Business with Germany - Reinforce your presence and increase sales

31 mars
12.00-13.30
Brunnsgatan 2, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce
Internationell handel
Germany is the world’s fourth largest economy and Sweden’s major trading partner. German companies are known for their high degree of specialization and they are world leaders in different fields. In this mature market, strategic partnership with a manufacturer/supplier with strong sales channels, long-term commitment and access to local networks are crucial components for a successful business and increased sales.

Germany is one of the world's largest exporting countries, and the SMEs are the backbone of the economy and play an important role. Many are family owned, and high quality is a hallmark. Several SMEs are global market leaders in their niche while they, at the same time, have a strong local presence and keep the headquarters in the town where the business was founded.

Welcome to a lunch seminar where Volvo, Mr. Maik Friedrichs, Blåkläder, and Mr. Lars Anders Berg, Kongamek will share their insights and experience of how to do successful business in a competitive open economy with a global footprint. These three companies were awarded the prestigious Company Price 2016 by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany, the Embassy, and Business Sweden. The three different categories are a large company, a medium sized and a newcomer

Programme
2016 laureates Volvo Cars, Blåkläder, and Kongamek, will, together with the chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany Mr. Thomas Ryberg, discuss the following issues:

  • Meeting local preferences and conditions
  • Strategic partnership formation
  • Challenges & pitfalls
  • Innovative edge and global opportunities

Additionally, the business advisors of the Swedish Chamber will be present at the event. The advisors of the Swedish Chamber are affiliated with renowned Germany-based companies and speak German and Swedish.  They have a solid background in law, auditing, tax, HR, marketing and business consulting to answer your questions regarding trade with Germany. With their expertise in German-Swedish business and a broad network, the advisors regularly help Swedish companies on the German market.

The seminar is organized in cooperation with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany and ICC Sweden.

A light lunch will be served from 11.30.
