Fundraising Afternoon Tea with IWIB

29 May
Kapitel 8 at TÀndsticktspalatset, VÀstra TrÀdgÄrdsgatan 15, Stockholm
International Women in Business networking group (IWIB) will commemorate its first anniversary with a charitable afternoon tea to raise funds for WONSA – World of No Sexual Abuse.

In light of the SVT documentary and social media movement #brinnerförjosefin about the mental and sexual abuse the Swedish singer and actress Josefin Nilsson suffered for several years, IWIB has chosen to raise funds for WONSA – World of No Sexual Abuse.  After covering the cost of the event, 100% of the funds will be donated to this organization.

Our special guest is Medical Doctor Gita Rajan, a Swedish doctor and founder of WONSA.

Price: 700 SEK where 100% of the profit will be donated to WONSA

The event hosted at TĂ€ndstickspalatset is open to both members and non-members of the Chamber.

About WONSA:

The fundraising foundation and the limited company was registered in the fall of 2014. In December 2015, Dr. Rajan opened the first specialist clinic in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. They take in patients from the age of 12 years, regardless of gender, type of sexual abuse and regardless of when it happened.

WONSA is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organization. Through treatment, research, and spreading knowledge they work to make specialist care for psychological trauma after sexual abuse available in the entire country, and in the long run, the entire world.

WONSA is currently Sweden’s only scientifically approached specialist clinic for adult patients who have been sexually abused in their childhood.
